It will be awarded to the most gifted postgraduate multimedia journalism student studying on the MA in Multimedia Journalism in academic year 2012/13.

Scholarship Description: This is a new scholarship funded by Associated Newspapers and will be awarded to the most gifted postgraduate multimedia journalism student studying on the MA in Multimedia Journalism in academic year 2012/13. The scholarship winner will receive a contribution of £10,000 towards their tuition fees and will enjoy a valuable month long placement at the Daily Mail. Applicants should submit a story written in the style of the Daily Mail. They should specify which section of the newspaper their story is designed for. Applicants should ensure that their story is written in the style that accurately reflects the real contents of the relevant section. They should ensure that their story is of the right length and that it is set out in an appropriate manner (eg use of sub-headings, headlines etc). Clearly applicants will need to make themselves very familiar with the Daily Mail before beginning to compile their scholarship submission.
