Responsible for providing laboratory based technical support for an international research project working on the production and characterisation of cellulose based advanced materials. The work will principally be chemically based and will investigate the production of cellulose whiskers from a variety of substrates. Preparation of reports on laboratory work and accurate collation of data will be required; together with the development of scale up techniques.
