£44,931 – £56,097 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Engineering and Knowledge Management based within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing at Coventry University which, is one of the largest in the UK and is committed to high quality teaching and applied research.

This is a new post created to strengthen the existing teaching of Aviation Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate level thus experience of the operation of airports and their facilities is essential. Knowledge and experience of cargo handling, and airport safety, security and emergency planning is essential. Other logistics and transport sector experience would be advantageous.

With a background in academia or industry, as a Principal Lecturer you will be expected to have a track record in teaching and applied research activities related to the aviation sector. Good team working, IT competence and a commitment to student support is essential.
