We have vacancies for Research Officers in both our public policy and human resource management research teams in Central London and Central Brighton.
Research Officers are involved in a diverse range of research projects across the spectrum of IES’s portfolio of work, covering learning and skills, work, health and well-being, employee relations, labour market disadvantage, and HR management and consultancy.
Successful applicants will be expected to carry out a range of research-related tasks including: quantitative and qualitative data analysis, literature searches and reviews, qualitative interviews, focus groups and report writing. Applicants should have excellent academic qualifications, with some training in research methods, preferably at Masters level, and/or relevant work experience. An interest in employment and skills policy and/or human resource management is essential.
Appointments will be initially to a 12 month contract.
