Salary: £38.49 per class contact hour
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and teaching language and academic skills to UPS and/or IELTS preparation classes on the International Summer Programme which runs between 21 June – 10 September 2010
- Attending course and general meetings
- Co-ordinating with colleagues and course leaders on matters relating to teaching and learning
- Co-ordinating with administrative staff
- Preparing and marking tests and other assessments as appropriate
- Marking students work
You should have:
- First degree
- TEFL Q status ( RSA DELTA or equivalent)
- Experience in teaching EAP in HE environment or of teaching IELTS preparation courses
- Experience in using computer based teaching and learning resources
- Experience in developing and exploiting materials to suit pedagogic needs of students at HE level
