The Faculty of Engineering is committed to delivering high quality teaching across its three schools: Aerospace and Aircraft Engineering, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, and Civil Engineering and Construction.
Due to the Faculty’s success and growth we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Civil Engineering and Construction to support teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The School of Civil Engineering and Construction is a thriving department with well-equipped laboratories. Lecturers are provided with personal computing facilities which can be used for their research.
You will ideally be working towards a PhD in an appropriate area of civil engineering and construction. Additional capability to deliver a varied teaching load and project supervision in one or more the following disciplines would be an advantage; Hydraulics & Water Engineering, Civil Engineering Surveyor or Construction Materials, primarily at undergraduate level. Opportunities are available to undertake research or supervise PhD candidates’ dependent on experience and qualifications.
