The School of Computing and Engineering Systems launched the first BSc Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures degree in the country in September 2006. It is now seeking to appoint a lecturer in Computer Networking to join the small and enthusiastic team delivering teaching in the areas of Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, and Computer Security.
You will teach Computer Networking at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Currently the undergraduate teaching at years 1, 2 and 3 is aligned with CISCO modules. Having CISCO instructor qualifications, or a willingness to be trained in this area, is essential for this role.
The School of Computing and Engineering Systems sees the area of Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking and Computer Security as a growth area and is seeking to add to the research capacity in this area. An active research interest in Computer Network Security would be particularly useful.
