Xfi is a graduate teaching and research institute within the University of Exeter Business School. Resources for research and teaching are outstanding, having been made possible by a multi-million benefaction. The successful candidate will contribute to the research and teaching activities of Xfi, and will be expected to pursue a research agenda that leads to publications in leading journals.

Applicants for the post of Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer must have a record of peer-reviewed publications in recognised international journals. The appointment will be made at either Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer level dependent upon the level of experience and publication record of the preferred candidate.

Exeter is consistently rated as one of the best places to live in the UK. With a population of 110,000 it happily combines modern city life with the advantages of the South West. It has a wide range of restaurants and cafes alongside a medieval cathedral and the oldest Guildhall in the country. Just outside the city there is some of the most stunning countryside in the UK, and it is only a short drive to Dartmoor, Exmoor or one of many excellent beaches.

The starting salary will be from £50,816 up to £53,650 on Grade H, depending on qualifications and experience.
