An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to be based at our Auchincruive campus to deliver, assess and manage a range of modules delivered primarily to SACs full-time programmes in Sustainable Building Technology and Green Technology, though there will be the opportunity to contribute to other SAC programmes with sustainable building and building services contents. The teaching will be at levels from HNC to Honours Degree.
Consistent with SACs policy of continual improvement the successful applicant will be expected to develop teaching and assessment materials for new or updated teaching areas.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant should have an honours degree or equivalent and vocational qualifications in a relevant subject area. Preference will be given to candidates who also have previous experience of teaching Higher National and degree programmes. .A current UK driving licence is essential as travel to rural locations will be required. This is a fixed term post available until December 2011 in the first instance.
The salary will be in the region of £28,800 to £33,450 per annum.
