from £31,671 to £37,839 per annum at Lecturer level

from £38,951 to £45,155 per annum at Senior Lecturer level

The School of Computing, Mathematical and Information Sciences is significantly expanding its provision in computing at the University Centre Hastings. This includes expansion of our existing FdSc Computing with Business courses and a new course BSc (Hons) Digital Games Production (subject to validation). You will require a strong academic record in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience as well as the ability to demonstrate experience of appropriate tools and techniques to a professional computing industry standard. You will be expected to have or to develop a strong research profile in computing compatible with the school’s research agenda and/or to develop a significant profile of economic and social engagement activities. You will contribute to the development and delivery of modules particularly in the area of databases and web development. You will also be expected to contribute to the broader development and delivery of the computing provision including research methods, final year project supervision and personal tutoring. You will be able to demonstrate experience of appropriate tools and techniques to a professional computing industry standard and industrial experience using these technologies would be an advantage.
