MSc in Latin American Studies Scholarships, University of Oxford

CAF-Latin American Development Bank and the Latin American Centre, University of Oxford, invite applications for two scholarships to study for the MSc in Latin American Studies in 2012/13. The scholarships will cover both tuition fees as well as college fees for St Antony’s College.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates should be applying for the MSc in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford to start in 2012

2. Nationality: you must be a permanent resident and national of one of the following CAF shareholder countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela.

3. A vocation for public service, as evidenced by previous studies and work experience.

4. The intention to return to work in a role of public service in your country of origin following completion of the course in Oxford.

How To Apply

1. Complete the online application for the MSc in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford. You should apply in the first or second applications round, deadlines as follows: Friday 18th November 2011 (round 1), Friday 20th January 2012 (round 2). You should specify St Antony’s as your first choice of college and state in your application that you wish to be considered for a CAF-Oxford Scholarship.

2. Send a short email to administrator@lac.ox.ac.uk by the same deadline to state that you wish to be considered for a CAF-Oxford Scholarship.

Incomplete applications, or applications not submitted by one of the two deadlines will not be considered for CAF-LAC funding.

Results will be announced by the start of April 2012. Successful students will be contacted by email.
