Numerical Software Developer (KTP Associate)

You will be responsible for implementing algorithms for evaluating matrix functions in NAG software. The role includes testing and documenting the codes, as well as producing reports and giving presentations where needed.
You should have a PhD, or equivalent in mathematics, or a mathematically based subject, involving writing algorithms, preferably in a numerical linear algebra setting, and carrying out computational work. You should also have experience of software development in C and/or Fortran.
The position is available immediately, and is to start on 1st September 2010, or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is tenable for a period of three years.
Salary
£28,983 – £30,747 p.a.
