Environmental and Resource Economics is one of the key areas of research pursued in the Economics Discipline Area at the University of Manchester. Members of staff participate in the GENESIS project, which is funded under the European Union’s FP7 research framework and covers more than 20 different partners (universities, research institutes and SMEs) all over Europe. This position is co-funded through GENESIS and the University’s Sustainable Consumption Institute (SCI).
For this 2 year post within Economics, we welcome applicants who have completed (or are close to completion of) a PhD programme in environmental and resource economics or a related field and who have demonstrable skills in quantitative analysis, including econometrics and environmental valuation techniques.
Salary
£28,839 – £35,469 p.a
