You will work with members of the Research and Enterprise Programme in Wireless Communications with direct interaction with the leader of the programme Prof Predrag Rapajic. You will interact in your research effort with other members of the School of Engineering to develop research capacity, increase research funding, and improve the quality and quantity of research produced in the School/Department specifically in at least two of the current research projects:
- Mobile Communication Channel Information Capacity
- Information Capacity and Channel Coding for Finite State Markov Channels
- Adaptive Multi-user Receivers
- Adaptive Filtering (Kalman Filters) and Signal Processing in Communications
You should have a PhD in Engineering, Telecommunications or an allied discipline, extensive experience of archival research and an interest in interdisciplinary approaches to the past.

Salary £35469 – £43622 per annum
