We are appointing 5 postdoctoral research assistants to work on a 4 year Leverhulme Programme Grant: Tipping Points – mathematics, metaphors and meanings. Two will research rapid environmental change on the North Atlantic seaboard. Two will research historical and current financial crises. One will research how ‘Tipping Points’ has become adopted as a metaphor. All will work in a pan-Durham interdisciplinary team including scientists, social scientists and arts and humanities researchers. (more…)
