Description: You will co-ordinate and/or deliver teaching on four undergraduate taught units, will supervise about five final-year MEng dissertation students, and will contribute to the day-to-day life of the Department in an appropriate way. You will have particular strengths in teaching construction management at undergraduate level to civil engineering and architecture students, will preferably be professionally qualified with established links with industry and will preferably hold a PhD. Due to the uniquely joint nature of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, design ability of our students and graduates is at the forefront of teaching, so that design experience and/or experience in the design process would be advantageous. Although the starting date is flexible, it will preferably be before the start of Semester 2 of the 2009/10 academic year. In other words, a start date around 4th January 2010 is desirable. Salary: £12,786 – £15,267 (£36,532 – £43,622 pro-rata)
