University of Bath Scholarship: University Research Student Scholarships

The Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering invites applications from suitably qualified graduate students for a number of University Research Student Scholarships (URS) for PhD studies. Awards carry stipends equivalent to the Research Council maintenance award.
Applicants should have a First Class Degree and wish to pursue research within one of the Department’s three centres:
The Centre for Advanced Studies in Architecture (CASA)
The Building Research Establishment Centre for Innovative Construction Materials (BRE CICM)
The Engineering and Design of Environments (EDEn)

Applications for the first stage of selection should consist of a CV and accompanying statement of the proposed research project (100 words), including the name of a Departmental supervisor. This material should be sent to Emma Greeley at E.S.J.Greeley@bath.ac.uk no later than the 5th January 2010
