Based within the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, you will work on a project studying human immune responses in-vitro to candidate pneumococcal vaccine antigens.
You will need to have experience in generation of recombinant bacterial proteins and in immunological assays in human or animal models. Knowledge of pneumococcal vaccine research is also essential and experience in this area is desirable.
This post is to cover maternity for 16 weeks (or the earlier return of the current postholder).
Grade: Level a in Pathway 2
