The University of East London is a dynamic and rapidly expanding university at the heart of Europe’s largest regeneration area and immediately adjacent to the site of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. UEL is in the top 10 new universities in the UK for research in the 2008 RAE exercise.
Library and Learning Services and the Institute of Performing Arts Development have been funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) to further enhance and embed the successful digital archive ‘East London Theatre Archive (ELTA)’ into four popular Theatre Studies programmes at UEL, Royal Holloway, Nottingham and Sheffield universities.
A graduate with excellent interpersonal skills and a familiarity with the HE digital information environment, you will assist the Project Manager in delivering our CEDAR project, by testing the use of archives. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively on your own initiative and within the team. Based at the University Of East London, there will be some travelling to partner universities in the UK.
