Salary: £27,999 – £35,469 per annum, pro rata.

Summary:
Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to work in the area of low carbon supply chain as follows:- modelling carbon use, balancing decisions, testing and adapting interventions, developing a balanced green supply chain systems and a route map to enable transition to low carbon supply chain (100% FTE);- low carbon supply chain, particularly the options of various clean technologies and green practices for reducing GHG emissions throughout the supply chain, developing a balanced green supply chain systems and a route map to enable transition to low carbon supply chain (50% FTE).
Post holders should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in supply chain management and experience of research in sustainable/green/low carbon supply chain management and environmental engineering/technology.
Both posts are funded by the Centre for Low Carbon Futures (CLCF) from Yorkshire Forward. The posts are part of the resources within Strand 7 Low Carbon Supply Chain under CLCF.
This post is part-time, fixed-term, with an anticipated start date of 1 December 2009 and an end date of 31 August 2011 working 50% fte; days to be agreed.
