This full time permanent post is available from September 2010 and applications are welcomed from all areas of finance.

Xfi is a graduate teaching and research institute within the University of Exeter Business School. Resources for research and teaching are outstanding, having been made possible by a multi-million benefaction. The successful candidate will contribute to the research and teaching activities of Xfi, and will be expected to pursue a research agenda that leads to publications in leading journals.

Applicants for the position of Lecturer should possess or be near completion of a PhD in Finance or related discipline.

Exeter is consistently rated as one of the best places to live in the UK. With a population of 110,000 it happily combines modern city life with the advantages of the South West. It has a wide range of restaurants and cafes alongside a medieval cathedral and the oldest Guildhall in the country. Just outside the city there is some of the most stunning countryside in the UK, and it is only a short drive to Dartmoor, Exmoor or one of many excellent beaches.

The starting salary will be from £31,513 up to £38,757 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.
